A stalwart of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Dodeye Arikpo has resigned his membership from the party.
Dodeye who played a pivotal role in the party during the tenure of former Cross River State governor, Liyel Imoke and later sought the party’s nomination for a seat in the Nigeria Senate said his reasons for ending it is “purely personal”.
This decision was communicated in a letter signed by Dodeye Arikpo, dated July 23, 2024, and addressed to the Ikpakapit Ward Chairman in the Yakurr Local Government Chapter of the party.

The stalwart’s next political move is yet to be disclosed.
