A new Neuropsychiatric and General Hospital Complex has been commissioned in Rumuigbo, Port Harcourt, providing residents with access to modern and comprehensive healthcare services.
The world-class facility, commissioned by the Rivers State Government under Governor Siminalayi Fubara, was constructed by MCC Nigeria Limited and equipped with modern medical infrastructure.
The hospital features advanced operating theatre tables, surgical lights, anaesthesia machines, patient monitoring systems, suction equipment, medical trolleys and specialised neonatal care equipment.
It also includes modern wards, diagnostic and treatment spaces, specialised mental health facilities and therapeutic environments designed to support quality patient care.
The project represents a significant investment in healthcare infrastructure and is expected to strengthen access to specialised medical and mental health services in Rivers State.
