One of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ministers who is in charge of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Employment, Simon Lalong has resigned his position.
Moon Ray News was informed that Lalong’s resignation letter met Mr. President after today’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting. However, Lalong is awaiting the President to officially accept his letter.
Lalong’s had said his decision to resign was purely based on the love and trust which his people of Southern Senatorial District of Plateau State showed him at the general election where he was elected as a Senator.
After several post-election tribunals, a Court judgement recently pronounced him winner of the election and his resignation will see him take up this seat in the 10th Nigerian Senate.
