On Sunday, December 3, 2023, several heavy military air strikes came down in Tuden Biri community in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State leading to the death of about 85 villagers and the State’s Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan has confirmed that the Nigerian Army have claimed responsibility of the strikes.
This has caused many Nigerians to mourn as they call on the Federal Government to weigh fully into the matter and in a statement today, by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu issued an order on the incident.
According to Mr. Ajuri, President Tinubu has ordered thorough and full-fledged investigation into the incident and called for calm while the authorities looked diligently into the incident.
“The President also directs swift and comprehensive medical attention for surviving victims while praying for the repose of the souls of the deceased,” Ajuri’s statement said.
Meanwhile, President Tinubu also sympathizes with the families of victims, the people and the government of Kaduna State over the mistaken bombing.
