Moon Ray News can authoritatively report that Yakurr commissioner nominee, Mrs. Gladys Eutemdala has failed her screening by the Cross River State House of Assembly.
Giving reasons why Eutemdala did not make it to the list of cleared commissioner nominees, Rt. Hon. Davis Etta representing Abi State Constituency and chairman of the House Committee on Judiciary said; “Her nomination brought several petitions from some Yakurr indigenes who raised critical issues of great public concerns against her”.
Speaker, Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, acting on the said petitions, turned down Eutemdala’s nomination while noting that his 10th Assembly will pay enough ears to the voices of the people.
If the position of the Assembly is not appealed, Yakurr has systematically lost one commissioner slot, safe the Governor re-nominates another person from Yakurr.
