The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has, through its Bursar, Mr. Prince Joseph Odum announced a new school fees chart for all students of the institution with a magnificent rise in school charges for both new and returning students.
Mr. Odum’s new charges for 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 school sessions far tripled what the students have been paying the previous sessions.
For example, new students studying medicine & surgery, law, engineering, pharmacy, medical laboratory, dentistry and nursing science will pay a total of N155,000 with additional compulsory dues totaling N38,500; while returning students for the above courses will pay N125,500 and an additional compulsory dues of N21,500.
Therefore, new students in the above departments will pay a sum total of N193,500 and returning students will pay a sum total of N147,000.
