The General Hospital Ugep has taken delivery of five(5) solar powered lights from Yakurr-1 House of Assembly member, Hon. Cyril Omini to enhance quality health service delivery.
According to Hon. Cyril, this gesture underscores his commitment towards supporting good healthcare services to the people of Yakurr, nay, Cross Riverians at large.
“In line with my commitment to bring relief to my dear constituents, which includes, the provision of basic social amenities for their wellbeing, I delegated my team, ably led by Mr. Sandy Bassey, Mr. Ubi Abam and Mrs. Eno Gladys Eutendala, to present Five(5) Solar Panel Lights to General Hospital in Ugep,’ Hon. Cyril said.
These items were received by the hospital’s Chief Medical Superintendent, Dr. Ubi Ije together with other staff of the hospital who were enveloped with glad e over the Honourable Member’s intervention.
Also, the Obol Lopon of Ugep and Paramount Ruler of Yakurr, Obol Ofem Eteng Ubana was at the scene of delivery.
