To spice up the maiden carnival of Gov. Bassey Otu, the Cross River State Carnival Commission has introduced a new contest in the 32-day long street festival.
According to the Commission, every Sunday, church gospel bands will gather to sing.
There is a panel of judges every competing night and by the end of the song carnival, the winning choir will go home with three million naira (N3,000,000) as grand prize.
