{"id":6645,"date":"2024-01-02T20:25:09","date_gmt":"2024-01-02T20:25:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/moonraynews.com\/?p=6645"},"modified":"2024-01-02T20:25:10","modified_gmt":"2024-01-02T20:25:10","slug":"breaking-pdp-suspends-chairman-over-anti-party-activities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/moonraynews.com\/?p=6645","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING: PDP Suspends Chairman Over Anti-Party Activities\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Report available to Moon Ray News has&nbsp;&nbsp;it that the State Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has suspended the state chairman of the party, Mr Fatai Adams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The party alleged that the embattled chairman was involved in some anti-party activities which are against the rules and regulations of the party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was contained in a statement issued by the members of the SWC, made available to newsmen on Tuesday. The statement was signed by nine members of the committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement read, \u201cPursuant to section 58(1b. c, f. h. and i) of the PDP Constitution as amended in 2017, the State Working Committee has approved the suspension of the State Chairman, Mr. Fatai Adams, for anti-party activities and for engaging in activities likely to bring the party to disrepute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHe is accordingly advised to appear before the State Disciplinary Committee of the party for further interrogations within the next one week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe party wishes to state emphatically that it will deal decisively with any incursion by the ruling party, the APC, into its ranks.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Report available to Moon Ray News has&nbsp;&nbsp;it that the State Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has suspended the state chairman of the party, Mr Fatai Adams.
