{"id":3162,"date":"2023-07-09T19:12:53","date_gmt":"2023-07-09T19:12:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/moonraynews.com\/?p=3162"},"modified":"2023-08-01T14:28:46","modified_gmt":"2023-08-01T14:28:46","slug":"yoruba-wife-of-former-akwaibom-governor-lands-in-court-for-evicting-stepchildren-from-family-estate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/moonraynews.com\/?p=3162","title":{"rendered":"Yoruba Wife Of Former AkwaIbom Governor Lands In Court For Evicting Stepchildren From Family Estate"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Children of former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Idongesit Nkanga have dragged their stepmother, Mosun Nkanga to court for forcefully evicting them from their deceased father&#8217;s estate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Late Nkanga&#8217;s children were evicted from their family estate in Asokoro, Abuja, on June 6, 2023, following a court order that was obtained by their Mosun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the children, their late father had, in his will, handed one wing of the building marked 3A, to Mosun and the second wing, 3B, where he lived before his demise, to them to live as a family house on the condition that it should be reverted to their stepmother, Mosun, when his last son, Ini-Idara, turned 30 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plaintiffs, through their lawyer, Mr. Inibehe Effiong, averred that Mr. Nkanga\u2019s last son, Ini-idara, is currently 25 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Mosun&#8217;s part, she alleged that her step children denied her access to her late husband&#8217;s property at No. 3A and B Mary Slessor Close, off Udo Udoma, off Yakubu Gowon Road, in Asokoro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A reason, she said necessitated her to giving them quit notice through a court order issued on March 24, 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Children of former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Idongesit Nkanga have dragged their stepmother, Mosun Nkanga to court for forcefully evicting them from their deceased father&#8217;s estate.
